Allison Transmission’s profit in the third quarter jumped 26.6% on the back of demand for Class 8 vocational trucks in North America, with executives saying it shows no sign of slowing down.

Allison Transmission Holdings Inc. reported net income of $175 million in the second quarter of 2023, up 43% compared with $122 million in the same period a year earlier, the company said.
